In addition to our ongoing programs, we are pleased to offer many very interesting special events throughout the seasons. Here are some of the wonderful events planned for this year.

Halloween Night Hike
Friday October 18th, 2024
7:00pm - 8:00pm
Waterman Conservation Education Center
Join us for Waterman's annual Halloween Night Hike this Spooky Season! Learn all about nocturnal wildlife & our own adaptations for the dark. If we are lucky we might even hear some owls or see some animals hiding out in the darkness!

Costumes are welcome & encouraged, as long as it's family-friendly and you have appropriate footwear for hiking. Trails may be muddy.
Please refrain from using flashlights. If you would like some form of light please only use red light. Red cellophane will be available to modify normal lights.
